Tina Huntington

Tina Huntington is an experienced litigation lawyer with thousands of hours in civil litigation. Her passion for children and helping clients through hard times led her to family law. She completed the Kansas training for mediators because she believes that the negotiating skills taught in that contest are relevant to the practice of family law. Tina serves as Judge Pro Tem for the Sedgwick County District Court and as a Triage Panel Member for the Community Mediation Center.

Tina represents clients in various family matters, including, Divorce, Separation, Paternity, Child Custody, Child Support, Protection Orders and Pre-Nuptial Agreements. She also represents individuals injured by medical malpractice.

Tina received her Law Degree in 2003 from the Washburn School of Law, in Topeka, Kansas. She is an energetic attorney with a passion for and understanding of family law issues. She actively attends legal education seminars and speaking events to keep current on the trends in law and philosophies and concerns of the judges before whom she appears. In 2018, Tina received the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association’s Public Service Award in recognition of her contributions to the community. In 2014, she received the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association’s Consumer Champion Award for her tireless efforts in a civil rights matter.

Tina is a member of the Wichita Bar Association – Family Law Section, Wichita Women Attorneys Association, Kansas Women Attorneys Association, and American Association of Justice. She is the 2022 Kansas Trial Lawyers Association Treasurer, Public Affairs committee member and serves on the Board for the Heartland Mediation Association.

Tina is a Kansas native and has lived in Andover since 2010 with her husband and Great Danes. She is a proud mom of two sons and five beautiful grandchildren. She is a Girls on the Run committee member and participates in AVID student events in the USD 259 school district. In her spare time, Tina enjoys traveling with her husband and is a passionate KU Basketball and KC Chiefs fan.
